Carbonaz offers a fully localised, multilingual interface, documentation and support. It is designed with producers in mind (most existing alternatives are focused on EU importers). The process from the demo session to contract usually takes 1-2 weeks. With onboarding training, your team can start actively using the platform within 2-3 weeks.

We do not offer a free trial period. Instead, you can experience all of Carbonaz's features live during the demo session. If you wish, we can test together in a sandbox environment with your own data.

Yes. Integration is possible with common enterprise ERP systems such as Logo, Netsis and SAP. By transferring your production, sales, inventory and accounting data into Carbonaz, you can reduce manual data entry. The integration scope is determined during onboarding.

Yes. With Excel import support you can bulk-upload your facility, product, fuel consumption and production quantity data. Our team assists you with this process during onboarding.

The onboarding process usually takes 2-3 weeks. Week one: system setup, user authorization, facility and product definitions. Week two: historical data upload, supplier invitations. Week three: preparation of the first reporting period. What you should prepare at the start: facility list, product CN codes, the last 12 months of fuel and electricity consumption, supplier list.

During onboarding we provide a dedicated 4-hour training. A live session where each module and feature is explained to your team by our experts. Afterwards, documentation, video and one-on-one support continue.

Our supplier portal supports multiple languages. Your suppliers can choose their own language preference and email notifications are sent in the selected language. This is a critical feature for producers working with foreign suppliers.

When you enter your product's CN code in the Carbonaz system, an automatic scope check is performed. The CN codes of the 6 sectors within CBAM scope (752 codes) are defined in the system. If you have any doubt, share your product details via the contact form and we'll check and get back to you.

The EU CBAM regulation provides a de minimis exemption for companies importing less than 50 tonnes per year. This exemption applies only to cement, iron & steel, aluminium and fertilizers; it does not apply to electricity and hydrogen, where the obligation continues regardless of quantity. Carbonaz tracks your import volumes and automatically checks whether you stay below this threshold.

Yes. Carbonaz can be configured for producers of every scale, from a single-facility small producer to a multi-facility industrial group. Pricing is customized to your size, and a small producer is never forced into an oversized package.

Your data is stored on EU GDPR-compliant cloud infrastructure. Your company's data is fully isolated from other customers. Different companies have no access to each other's data.

Our calculations are fully aligned with the EU Monitoring & Reporting Regulation (MRR) method. All formulas reference Implementing Regulation (EU) 2018/2066 and 2023/1773. On our methodology page we transparently show every formula and every data source.

Yes. Our reports are fully compliant with the EU CBAM format. All mandatory fields, the EORI number and CN code format are checked automatically. With pre-submission error scanning, the risk of EU Registry rejection is minimized.

Your suppliers enter the Carbonaz portal via an invitation link and see only their own data. Data isolation between companies is complete; no company can see another company's data. It is KVKK and GDPR compliant.

Every data entry, every calculation and every report is recorded immutably. Retroactive tampering is technically impossible. This meets the audit standard required by verification bodies such as SGS and TÜV.

Yes, they are two names for the same regulation. CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism) is the EU's English name; SKDM (Sınırda Karbon Düzenleme Mekanizması) is the Turkish name for the same mechanism. Both refer to the border carbon cost levied on the embedded carbon emissions of goods imported into the EU.

The CBAM definitive regime began on 1 January 2026. From that date, producers exporting CBAM products to the EU are required to submit an emissions report and purchase CBAM certificates.

The mark-up penalty is the additional charge you pay as a result of using default values when you cannot obtain actual emission data from your suppliers. It is applied as +10% in 2026, +20% in 2027, and +30% in 2028 and beyond. With Carbonaz's 80/20 check, you can eliminate this penalty.

The CBAM factor determines how much of your gross carbon cost you pay as CBAM certificates. It is 0.025 (2.5%) in 2026, 0.485 (48.5%) in 2030, and 1.000 (100%) in 2034. In other words, full CBAM liability begins in 2034.

It is the free allowance granted to EU producers under the EU ETS. To balance this advantage, CBAM deducts the same amount from CBAM-liable producers as well. Carbonaz calculates the FAA automatically using benchmark data.

The EU regulation requires that at least 80% of precursor emissions come from actual supplier data. If you fall below 80%, the mark-up penalty applies. Carbonaz tracks this ratio automatically in every calculation.
